A pattern I made from some illustrations I did at work. I love navy and white together.

On shallow slates the pigeons shift together,
Backing against a thin rain from the west
Blown across each sunk head and settled feather.
Huddling round the warm stack suits them best,
Till winter daylight weakens, and they grow
Hardly defined against the brickwork. Soon,
Light from a small intense lopsided moon
Shows them, black as their shadows, sleeping so.
– Philip Larkin
A messy painting I did inspired by the Larkin poem “Pigeons”.
I illustrated a range of Christmas products for Lapin & Me a couple of months ago and now you can buy them ready for Christmas, Joyeux Noel! You can buy the illustrated calendar and cards here. Hope you like them!
